Lowenbrau
Situation: The Lowenbrau client was interested in doing some print that was directed at young adult drinkers. We were asked to come up with something that would be appealing to this group but played off the heritage of the brand. Since the TV was very image oriented they also requested that we get the quality brewing credentials into the ads. Solution: Since we had about a half a millennium in brewing credentials working for us we got to thinking about all the great people in history who would have had a chance to actually drink Lowenbrau. This thinking led us to the notion that some of these people may have been novice brewers themselves and perhaps thought that they could improve upon Lowenbrau’s formula for the best way in the world to brew beer. And who knows, maybe by failing they were able to focus their energies on the things that would eventually make them famous in their own right. Hey, it could have happened that way.
